Spring is here!

Ok, last time I proclaimed this, it stayed warm for a week. Then it gradually cooled down and we even had a snow day on Monday. However, I'm confident that this time around, spring is here to stay. Highs this weekend are going to be in the 70's and I can't wait.

To make it all better, Phil, Amanda, and Jack picked the perfect weekend to visit. They arrive later today and we have plans of grilling, gaming, fondue-ing, getting to know Jack, visiting the lake, and spending the rest of the time outside.

Yesterday Mike found a great deal on a bookcase at Target, so we spent a few hours last night putting it together. It was quite the adventure - there were something like 40 cam locks and 50 screws (and of course, we didn't think to charge the drill before we started) to install. In the end, it looks really nice and all of our games fit on it, which was the whole point. Now we have a free bookshelf for Gabe's toys and books in his room.

Also, now that it's public knowledge, I wanted to say congrats to Danny & Sarah. They are expecting a baby girl at the beginning of July!!
