Snow day!

It doesn't snow here very often, but when it does, everything shuts down. Usually that happens for an inch or two of snow, but today we actually got closer to 6" of snow (on top of a layer of frozen rain). Mike's school was closed and I decided not to brave 30 miles of icy, unplowed back roads on my drive to work, so we spent a relaxing day at home. After spending the morning watching Inauguration Day coverage and West Wing reruns, we made lunch and then went on a walk in the neighborhood. As we walked by Adam's house, we noticed all of the neighborhood kids playing in the backyard, so we joined them for a snowball fight before heading home to dry out.
