Plague survivor

It was iffy there for a couple of days, but now I'm confident in saying that I beat the plague. I'm not entirely sure what the plague was - my best guess is bronchitis, but the docs at student health aren't very interested in giving a diagnosis (only prescribing useless meds) so I don't know for sure. I ended up missing most of a week at work (and sadly realized yesterday that the little work I did last week was mostly garbage. Guess that's what I get for writing while mostly delirious) and spending the entire weekend in the house. Mike was awesome throughout (even though he wasn't feeling 100% either) - he was very patient with me, cooked me whatever I felt like eating, and ran out to the store more than once to get supplies. He didn't complain when I just wanted to spend the weekend on the couch watching Alias. I still owe him some time playing Guitar Hero!

I can't believe we're headed to Indiana in less than 2 weeks for Christmas. We still have quite a bit of shopping to do (online, though - we both refuse to brave the stores in December) and haven't prepared at all for the trip itself. I'm looking forward to relaxing and hanging out with family. Well, that, and there are some things I'd like to eat while I'm home :)
