It almost doesn't feel like December here. It's currently 60 degrees and raining outside - what's up with that? Because we've been so busy, we didn't really decorate the house this year. We put up some lights and the stockings and called it quits. It's been hard to even look forward to next week's Indiana trip because there is so much to do at work and home.
I am looking forward to the holidays, though. There are two main things I'm especially anticipating: time with family and friends and lots of good food. Baby Gabe has caused me to really put an emphasis on the latter: I'm hungry all the time anyway (and gaining the requisite pound per week), so the thought of food that I can't get in NC (whether it be of the spaghetti factory or the home-cooked variety) is nearly driving me crazy. I'm very excited that this is one Christmas where I don't have to feel guilty about over-indulging in all of the tasty offerings!
Now I just have to make it through the week....
