Science jewelry!

Mike outdid himself this year and got me two awesome presents. For Valentine's Day, he found a kit for making a solar system necklace - he strung up all of the beads himself, and the distances between each planet are to scale (each tiny black bead is 20 million miles). For my defense, he got me a serotonin necklace. So now I own a scale mockup of the solar system and the chemical structure of serotonin - and both are nice enough to wear when dressing up. I am so excited. Also, for those of you keeping score, Mike is on the last thread color of his cross stitching creation for Gabe's room that he started before Gabe was born. It is quite the massive project, and it's fun to see it coming together. I have quite the crafty husband!

How are you enjoying Deke?

I'm enjoying it (I'm not very far, no time to read and no longer riding the bus - I miss my 15 mins a day of bus reading time!), though still like Kranz's so far...
