Welcome Hugh!

Congrats to Amanda, Phil, and Jack who welcomed Hugh Colwell yesterday morning. Seems all are doing well. We can't wait to meet him! I also have to give huge props to Amanda for being pregnant all summer! I was hating the heat in May so I can't imagine what she went through :)



Gabe survived his first week at daycare. Actually, we were the ones who survived - he actually had fun. I guess it's a bonus of starting him young - he doesn't yet have the separation anxiety. He's been big into imitating us this week: first trying to make buzzing noises with his lips and then today wanting to try to drink from a cup. We gave him an empty one and he was pretty good at knowing what to do with it. Our little boy is growing up so fast!! We have a busy weekend planned, with a lot of my family traveling in to meet Gabe. Susan, Mike, Sara, Ben, and Stella are driving down from DC and Laura and Rick are flying in from MI. We can't wait to see them all!
