Gems of Wisdom

I found out after reading my millionth or so pregnancy book that a pregnant woman's brain actually shrinks by something like 3%. I thought that was an interesting fact to pack away, not realizing that it may actually have an effect on my wife. Apparently I was wrong. Here are some of the things Erin has said that we can only attribute to brain shrinkage.

  • I going to make one full turn - 365 degrees.
  • We're going to be getting up a lot in the middle of the night to feed the diapers.
  • When asked if she was feeling like she was going to have a boy or a girl, her response was "I don't know, I'm hungry."
  • When I climbed into bed with her one night she said "don't rock the boat."
  • and another night she said "don't crowd the plate."
I'm wondering if "don't _____ the _____" may become a thing for her like the famed "i'm in ur _____, _____ing ur ____."

Are you going to make her a shirt? Because that would be cool.

PS - The "Post a Comment" link is super-hard to find! I recommend making it bigger or bolder or...

Meg,
Are you referencing a Daft Punk song or the new documentary about steroids in America?
